Pokemon Alpha Sapphire 3DS Game

Jog Your Memory

If your memory isn't what it used to be or you simply weren't into Pokemon back then, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are essentially re-makes of the original Ruby and Sapphire that were released all of those years ago. At the end of November (21st in Japan and North America, 28th for Europe) these two re-makes will hit the shelves marking a continuation of the core-series games. The Generation VI is still the setting for this game, but the game isn't by any means going to be stuck in the past (not in the bad way, anyhow).

Prepare for an epic adventure exploring a world filled with Pokemon in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.

Expect to see a variety of features that many will remember from the original Ruby and Sapphire such as Pokemon Contests, Secret Bases, familiar player characters (May and Brendan to be precise), and a wonderfully colourful look that is reminiscent of the games that these re-makes are based on.

Enjoy a gloriously represented, 3D version of the Hoenn region that retains the warm and familiar colours of the original but also slaps on an impressive third dimension that Pokémon X and Y allowed us to enjoy.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will feature a new form of evolution, or rather regression, in the form of Primal Reversion.

There are plenty of mega-evolutions to look forward to, so get your mega evolution stones ready and prepare yourselves for such offerings as Mega Sceptile, Mega Swampert, Mega Diancie, Mega Sableye, Mega Metagross, and - my favourite of all time - Mega Altaria.
